NASA Discovers Unusual Activity On The Sun with Parker Solar Probe

Launched from Cape Canaveral on August 12, 2018, the Parker Solar Probe had one goal: Make 24 up-close orbits of the star and study the sun’s atmosphere, also known as the corona. Right now the probe is doing just that, flying by the sun in ways no craft has ever done before.
