Finland is building the largest and most powerful nuclear reactor in Europe – and may have worked out what to do with spent nuclear fuel once and for all.
Since 2005, Finland has been constructing the largest nuclear reactor in Europe….alongside a facility that could solve the problem of what to do with spent nuclear fuel.
Know as OL3, the reactor will be one of the world’s most advanced….. and provide 14% of Finland’s total electricity needs when it begin operation in 2022
