Quantum mechanics is famous for its uncertainty principle that limits what you can measure. But oddly enough, quantum effects can actually help scientists make *better* measurements. This is what the field of quantum metrology is concerned with. In this video I explain what quantum metrology is and go through a few examples of what you can do with it.
