Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist. He is most well-known for his involvement in the development of the current alternating current (AC) electricity supply system. He was an outstanding scientist who made numerous significant advances in the study of electricity and magnetism.
