Heidi the dog proved she really is man’s best friend. Police in Australia say the German Shepherd paddled her little heart out, treading water for eleven hours after her owner’s boat sank, off the Brisbane.
The man later explained that everything happened because he suddenly lost control of the ship, and as a result of the sudden movement, he and the dog appeared in the water, but in opposite directions.
