Is the temperature a measurable quantity ? :
A detectable quantity is a quantity for which one can define an order relation which allows to compare and order objects by this magnitude.
The best known quantities are identifiable lengths, masses, areas, times and temperatures.
If more, the size of two objects together is equal to the sum of the quantities of each object and if the magnitude of a number n of identical objects together is n times the size of the object, then said that greatness is measurable.
Thus, among the above variables, the only that is not measurable is the temperature. Indeed, when you mix two liquids with different temperatures, the temperature of the mixture is not equal to the sum of the two liquid temperatures.
